BBQ Rub on a salad?

Yes, on a salad! Rubs are not just for meats and veggies. You can make delicious croutons with Tuscan Temptation.

Don't be scared - it's so easy and it tastes great!

To get the bread to soak up the oil and herbs - day old bread works best. But if you don't have old bread use your fresh bread and I'll give you a tip on how to make it work.

Break up your sourdough bread into bite-size pieces. If the bread's fresh dry it out in the oven on warm before you add the oil and herbs. Once the bread has cooled your ready to make croutons.

Next toss with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and using your hands squeeze the bread which gets the olive oil into the bread a bit better.  Sprinkle with Tuscan Temptation and your done!

Now spread out on a sheet pan and stick in the oven at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes depending on how crisp you like them.

When I make croutons my family eats them whether there's a salad or not so you might need to hide them if you want any left for the salad! Have fun eating!
