Super Bowl Wings 4 ways
Yep, Rockin' Rubs has your wing back! Need wings quick? We’ve got 4 down & dirty but packed with flavor ways of doing them! First some tips on grilling and eating them.
Prepare your wings by cutting the tips off and slicing the inside of the joint so it will lie flat, cooking more evenly. Or separate the 3 pieces and discard the tip leaving just the 2 meaty pieces for your friends to eat. Makes cooking and eating easier to have them separated already.
Sweet Inferno Wings – This is the easiest and actually my favorite way to eat wings. Place wings in a baking dish, sprinkle with Sweet Inferno – don’t’ go easy – your friends will expect your wings to have a lot of flavor – put in the oven at 375 degrees and cook for 35 minutes. Before you serve sprinkle them with parsley and put out either Ranch dressing or Blue Cheese dressing in case your friends need a way to cool the heat down. (Btw, that's them pictured above)
Steak Mojo Wings – Sprinkle with Steak Mojo and grill. Nothing easier than that. It needs nothing else as it’s just big on flavor but there isn’t any heat. If you do want to take it a step further right at the end of grilling - brush with your favorite barbecue sauce and let that caramelize for a few minutes before taking them off the grill. Or you can put a bowl of barbecue sauce out to dip them in. Steak Mojo Wings are always good to have for your friends and family who can’t take the heat!
Steak Mojo Hot Wings – I’ve been making these wings for quite a while and they are a huge hit with my friends and family. And they are a fun way to prepare wings when you’re tailgating. You can also add sliced radishes and avocados when you plate them. Tons of flavor and lots of heat! If they’re too hot for some of your friends - put out a bowl of sour cream with chopped fresh parsley and a bit of fresh lemon juice – to dip them in. The recipe has been on my blog for a while so click here to get it. The picture below shows them cooking in the liquid on the grill. Yum!
Baja Border Wings – Rub your wings with Baja Border Blend and throw them on the grill. They are super flavorful and not too hot. If you do want them hotter, add cayenne pepper to the Steak Mojo. Before serving sprinkle with chopped cilantro – it not only tastes good but looks great. Serve with slices of lime and avocado or guacamole.
